PERIMETER TREATMENT

Any treatment to the perimeter of the premises is a very effective short-term knockdown aiming to prevent the ants from entering your premises.

RESIDUAL TREATMENT

Combined with a perimeter spray to outside walls we also treat inside by means of a residual spray applied to problem areas. The insecticidal spray treatment leaves a residual of active ingredient behind that is picked up by the ants and taken back into the main nest.

ANT BAIT TREATMENT

We can also apply revolutionary ant bait gels and granules in strategic places inside. These environmentally friendly, non-toxic and odourless ant gels and granules are a food source that is taken by the ants back down into the nests and kills from within.

GARDEN & LAWN TREATMENT

Our garden & lawn treatments are very effective in the short term. As this treatment involves applying a water soluble chemical outside, we recommend this solution during dry winter months.

GEL BAIT TREATMENT

We use a Gel bait product that is environmentally friendly, non-toxic and odourless. Designed to eliminate small and medium sized Germanica cockroaches inside your premises. This Gel application will take some time to take full effect as it works as a bait and remains effective for long after the treatment date.  No interruption to staff or home during our cockroach treatment.

RESIDUAL SPRAY

We’ll lift and spray any accessible manhole cover drains with a residual insecticidal roach spray as a knockdown for the large Americana cockroaches that live in the drains, if applicable.

The maximum benefit of our cockroach control systems will be obtained if basic hygiene standards are achieved and the premises are kept thoroughly clean at all times.

THERMAL FOGGING

Should you have a sub-floor or crawlspace underneath your premises, or a warehouse or archives where the cockroaches are breeding, we can use a thermal fogger to pump a thick white smoke-like chemical into the area. It dissipates into every crack and crevice and is an effective knockdown solution. Special canister foggers are used to achieve the same knockdown effect in ceilings, small rooms and confined spaces.

The primary solution is good sanitation, excluding flies from the building and removing the food or organic matter that is attracting them.  Residual insecticidal sprays have limited efficacy against flying insects so our recommendation for fly control is to install Insect Light Trap units. These units use UV light to attract the flies that will be trapped by stick boards. The boards are removable and should be cleaned once a month.

COMMERCIAL & INDUSTRIAL

For commercial and industrial rodent control we offer full food safety standard (HACCP) and audit documentation (on request) and our rodent treatment programs are fully compliant.

RODENTICIDE TREATMENTS

We have a range of rodenticides that we use for rat or mice infestation in different areas, depending on your unique situation and safety issues. For example, wax blocks, liquid bait, tracking powder, rodent paste, mouse repellents, snapper traps, glue traps and some others are used in our process.

TAMPER-PROOF RODENT BOXES

Tamper proof rodent boxes (TPRB) enable the control of rodents in “public” and external areas where there is a chance of unwanted access. The bait boxes are secured to the ground with access obtained by a special key of which only you and ourselves have copies. The rodenticide is placed into the boxes. If our contract service for monthly baiting is accepted, we will install them free of labour charge.

DOMESTIC RODENT CONTROL

Our very successful rodent treatments usually involve visiting your property (office/factory/home) more than once. We do an initial treatment and at least one follow up visit to re-bait problem areas. Rats breed so quickly that a once-off treatment is not usually enough to control the rat problem. We recommend Monthly Services in high risk locations.

ASSESSMENTS

Termite treatment begins with a thorough termite inspection to determine the extent of the infestation, points of entry into the structure, moisture problems and the development of a plan of control. The goal in termite control is to provide an effective chemical barrier between the colony in the soil underground and the wood in the structure to be protected.

SPOT TREATMENTS

A localised treatment can be done to the affected area but this carries no guarantee, as the termites can simply re-emerge elsewhere in the structure. Remember, termites are not nesting at the point of damage inside your property. The worker ants simply find their way to that point, harvest the wood, and return to their nest some distance away underneath the ground.

5 YEAR GUARANTEE TREATMENT

Holes will be drilled at approximately 1m intervals throughout the exterior cavity walls and the concrete slab of the structure. The holes will penetrate right through the concrete slab to enable the chemical to reach the soil underneath the structure. A registered Termiticide chemical will be pressure injected into the holes, flooding the soil underneath the slab and cavity walls. All holes will be sealed over. Should there be a suspended floor or crawl space underneath the structure, only the exterior cavity walls will be drilled as above, and the same chemical will be used to flood the subfloor. The termiticide forms a chemical barrier between the soil underground and the wood inside the structure. This termite treatment is recommended and comes with a 5 year guarantee. Having been in business now for over 56 years it means that we’ll still be in business for the duration of the guarantee period to sort out any termite problem areas.

Bed bug treatment will involve identifying the location of the problem and then spraying with a residual insecticidal spray applied directly to the item of furniture, mattress, base, headboard, and immediate surrounding area (not necessarily the whole room, depending on the level of infestation). Beds must be stripped down to bare mattress before treatment, and all linen that is taken off the bed must be thoroughly washed in hot water, rinsed and hung to dry in hot sunshine before re-use.

The primary solution is good sanitation, excluding mosquitoes from the building and getting rid of standing water, pot plants and blocked drains.  Use of mosquito repellent sprays allows mosquito deterrence. Our recommendation for mosquito control is to install insect light trap units. These robust units use UV light to attract the flies that will be trapped by the stick boards. The boards are removable and should be cleaned once a month. Another option for smaller areas indoors is to use automatic aerosol dispensers.
